PURE SPRING ART FAIR – CELEBRATING PRINT

Held at The PowderMills Hotel, Battle and curated by Brenda Hartill, this promises to be an exciting show.  The exhibition is on from the 6th to 12th April. Pack your walking boots and check out Powdermills woods next door – it’s gorgeous.

Exhibiting artists include: Mychael Barratt, Dawn Cole, Fernando Fiejoo, Brenda Hartill, Carole Hensher RE, Katherine Jones, Cathryn Kemp, Frank Kiely, Marina Kim,  Anita Klein, Toni Martina, Bryan Poole, Trevor Price and Will Taylor.

Print demonstrations will take place every day throughout the exhibition. These will show visitors various print processes, including dry point, copperplate etching, mezzotint and collagraph. Example plates will be inked and printed on site and the demo prints will be signed by the artist and available to purchase on the day in aid of the charity MERU www.meru.org.uk

Brenda Hartill will lead a FREE talk on Easter Monday 9th April from 2pm on the subject “What is an Original Fine Art Print” – To reserve a seat email info@pureartsgroup.co.uk
